Our mission is to create an environment where growth can be supported by well-trained, warm, professionals utilizing evidence-based interventions. We are actively seeking to hire 1-2 Licensed Professional Counselors and/or Social workers who are experienced, motivated, and passionate about mental health.

At APC we see children, students, professionals, couples, and families! We have a growing waitlist and would love to bring on additional clinicians to join our team. We want our patients to be comfortable, respected, and competently cared for when they are under our care. We prioritize strong therapeutic relationships in combination with evidence-based treatment. We believe in being honest, open, and direct in our interventions.

We are located in Okemos, MI but also offer telehealth appointments.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize evidence-based treatment and provide best practice care
• Comply with all HIPAA regulations and confidentiality
• Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients
• Document encounters utilizing an electronic medical records system in a prompt manner
• Maintain your professional license and liability insurance

License/ Certifications:

We prefer fully licensed Counselors and Social workers; however, those newly graduated and with limited license are welcome to apply. We believe in hiring strong clinicians with life and work experience. We can offer supervision for limited licensed counselors working toward licensure.

Education:

Doctorate and Masters accepted

Experience:

We prefer those with 1-2 years of practice experience in related types of settings as outpatient mental health.
